Md. Sahidul Islam has been managing projects, conducting research & data analysis, designing & implementing Monitoring and Evaluation Systems since 2013. He has extensive expertise on series of projects, including COVID‑19, Immunization, Kala‑azar disease prevention, Cholera Vaccine, Oral Cholera Vaccine programmes, teacher development, maternal and child health, National Media Survey, Mobile Financial Services, local stability initiatives, good governance and capacity building programmes for various donors including WHO, USAID, DFID, InterMedia, CDC, Gallup, CIDA and various government and private funders. He designed, developed, implemented and managed or provide technical assistance to the management of the monitoring and evaluation of various projects in diverse conditions.
He also worked in Bangladesh’s rural and distant areas, where he faced a multitude of experiences. Sahidul has developed, managed and implemented databases to track the flow of information within complex, multi‑layered, geographically dispersed projects, placing a specific emphasis on data quality. He has vast experience in Data analysis, project monitoring and evaluation and research with expert knowledge in R Programming, SPSS, Stata, Matlab, Maple, Minitab with a solid background in statistics and having a strong technical aptitude.
