Since winter 2019, VAALO avant-garde Ltd. has been committed to providing essential winter clothing to marginalized people as part of its Company Social Responsibility (CSR) Program. In 29 December 2025, the company continued its tradition by contributing to the welfare of the community in a vulnerable Char area.
Char areas beside Dhaka near the Padma River, such as Mathurapara in Sreenagar, Munshiganj, face severe cold waves during winter, exacerbating hardships for residents without adequate shelter or warmth. This year, the winter wave most affected the marginalized people in these riverine zones, leaving them exposed to biting cold. VAALO stepped in to alleviate their suffering, even if just a little, amid these challenging conditions.
VAALO distributed over 100 blankets to marginalized people in the Char community of Mathurapara, Sreenagar, Munshiganj, Dhaka. The initiative targeted the most vulnerable Specially Women and Elderly, providing much-needed warmth during the extreme weather.
The distribution process received invaluable assistance from our campus ambassador of Canadian University. The VAALO Team expresses its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the volunteers for their generous contributions to this initiative.
