Recently A cold wave hit our county, and the country witnessed the lowest temperature in recent times. It's cloudy and misty in winter. People in Bangladesh enjoy various "pithas" on cold days. Delicious sweetmeats are also prepared with date juice. However, poor people suffer more because of winter days; it is more like a curse for them. Lacking any warm clothing, they tremble in the bitter cold. The news of deaths caused by the extreme cold occasionally appears in newspapers.
Contemplating the circumstances to aid the underprivileged and marginalized society in battling this cold wave, the VAALO team carried out a CSR initiative on 10th January 2023 to distribute more than 100 warm clothes to children on the street of Banani, Mohakhali, and Slam areas in Korail & Shat-tala like the previous years.
It is our company's responsibility toward society, and inspire others to conduct this type of work to help people in need. We had a great time distributing the clothes because the smiles we witnessed in return for one warm jacket were priceless. We aim to make this world a better place for EVERYONE and to achieve this goal. We will always keep up this small effort and play our part.
