On December 29, 2025, VAALO continued its annual winter support programme by distributing warm clothing among vulnerable children living in the Korail slum area of Dhaka. As part of its broader CSR commitment, VAALO primarily focuses on women and children, and this initiative reflects that ongoing dedication to improving the lives of disadvantaged communities.
Ahead of the distribution, VAALO student ambassador form CUB conducted a body-mapping exercise with 120 number of children aged 4 to 12 years to accurately capture their individual measurements. Based on this assessment, winter clothes were purchased according to each child’s specific size, ensuring that every child received clothing that was both comfortable and suitable.
The distribution was carried out directly in the community, bringing warmth, comfort, and joy to the children and their families. This thoughtful approach helped protect the children from the harsh winter while also restoring a sense of dignity and care among those who need it most.
