Like every year, The VAALO team continued their annual tradition of sharing iftar. But this time, the core team of VAALO celebrated the essence of Ramadan in a different way — by sharing iftar with our Cox’s Bazar team who have been supporting us throughout various field visits across multiple projects.
In the spirit of Ramadan and in appreciation of the hard work and dedication of its field team, VAALO avant-garde Ltd. organized a special iftar gathering on 21st of March, 2025, with data enumerators and others team member who worked tirelessly in some of the most remote and challenging settings like Ukhiya and Teknaf upazila Rohingya camps in this extreme weather. The iftar was not only a moment of reflection and spiritual connection, but also a powerful gesture of unity, appreciation, and solidarity with those at the heart of data collection efforts.
During the iftar, VAALO team members expressed their gratitude to the data enumerators for their resilience and commitment—particularly while fasting in hot and demanding field conditions. Speaking at the informal iftar, members of the VAALO team expressed their appreciation for the dedication and professionalism shown by the enumerators, especially during the month of Ramadan. “Working in the field during fasting hours is never easy. This iftar was a small gesture to recognize your incredible effort and the role you play in making this important work possible,” said one team member.
To continue the legacy VAALO team in action along with founder and Managing director Dr. Nazneen Akhter attended a heartfelt Iftar gathering held at the corporate office in Banani, Dhaka, on March 27, 2025.
This unique Ramadan celebration reflects VAALO’s people-centered values and its belief that fieldwork is not just about data — it’s about building trust, connection, and shared purpose in every step of the process.
