Sunday, 8th of November, 2020, a day long absolutely eminent event: 2nd Sustainable Apparel Summit 2020 was held at “Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka Bangladesh. This event was hosted by SNV's Working with Women Project-2, funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in partnership with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) to bring together all the related stakeholders to discuss and promote industry best practices around the theme “Workforce-centric Sustainability in the RMG Sector”. In such a dignified event, VAALO avant-garde Ltd. proudly participated as the “Knowledge Partner”.
“Mr. K.M. Abdus Salam”, Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Bangladesh was the chief guest in the inaugural session and “Begum Monnujan Sufian, MP, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Bangladesh was the chief guest of the closing session. Distinguished personalities, VIPs and people from different prestigious ends were also there as special guest speakers and panelists who delivered there valuable words and arguments on several facts in the 4 long technical sessions throughout the day. With lots of ideas and lively discussion, the “2nd Sustainable Apparel Summit” was an immense triumph for the future health development of the RMG workers with a new illumination of hope.
