VAALO avant-garde Ltd. partnering with “Brac University Leadership Development Forum (BULDF)” successfully hosted an enriching and insightful seminar titled "Open Interactive Session: Young Generation Value and Leadership Thinking” on 24th July 2023. The seminar aimed to foster a dynamic discussion on the significance of values in the young generation and explore the nuances of leadership thinking. Distinguished guests, Ben French, an accomplished Leadership Coach and Global Speaker, and Ms. Rehnuma H Sarah, a renowned physician and Assistant Scientist at icddr,b, were the keynote speakers for the event.
The event held at the “Students’ Life mini Auditorium” of Brac University campus which brought together students and officials of the university. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing global situation, the event embraced technological advancements and had the privilege of hosting Ben French remotely from the United Kingdom. As a Leadership Coach (ACC), Facilitator, Consultant, and Thinking Partner, Ben French brought a wealth of experience and knowledge in the domain of leadership. His engaging presentation captivated the audience as he shared valuable insights on effective leadership, critical thinking, and the importance of cultivating strong core values in the young generation. Participants were inspired by his success stories and unique perspectives on modern leadership challenges.
Ms. Rehnuma H Sarah, PhD, an expert in the field of medicine, serving as Assistant Scientist at icddr,b, and Environmental Intervention Unit, Emerging Infectious Disease division added a significant dimension to the event, as she shared her thoughts on the intersection of values and leadership in the context of healthcare and scientific research. Specially, her inspirational journey to success was a remarkable topic of her speech which catch the attention of the audience the most.
Again, the interactive nature of the session allowed attendees to participate actively in the discussions, pose thought-provoking questions, and gain invaluable insights from the distinguished guests. The event emphasized the importance of nurturing leadership qualities from a young age and encouraged the youth to become agents of positive change in their communities.
