Free Online Interactive Educative Seminar: Connecting women in The Equality Pathway
Equality for women is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. There has been progress over the last decades in many sectors compare to the previous records. Despite these improvements, many challenges remain still unachieved. Women are still getting discriminatory experiences in many socio-economic and professional platforms whereas women are not a single step behind in contributing for the development of society.
International Women’s Equality Day is there to remind that every individual woman has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents. All the injustice and oppressions have to be removed from women’s life. We “VAALO avant-garde Ltd.” fully support this significant day. We really felt passionate about adding some values to this day by celebrating it in a different way. With a view to encourage the society to be the part of the change, we arranged our online interactive & educative seminar on the occasion of “International Women Equality Day, 2020”. This time, we invited women from different intellectual constituents, who spent some of their valuable times in sharing their experiences from their respective fields. They particularly expressed their challenges and shared some untold stories of their lives. The seminar continued for only one and half hours but throughout the whole time, it was full of messages that were significant and inspiring for all of us.
In this seminar, we went for Facebook LIVE for the first time instead of going to “Zoom” meeting. This live created a new way to reach more people and thus our motive of spreading and sharing thoughts reached to a new height. Our Founder and Managing Director, “Dr. Nazneen Akhter”, moderated the whole LIVE show and creatively facilitated a discussable environment where our guest panelists comfortably shared their views and suggestions for the betterment of women.
