VAALO avant-garde Ltd. successfully conducted a two-day Training of Trainers on Gender Transformative Approach (GTA) and Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) for the staff members of the Reproductive Health Services, Training and Education Program (RHSTEP) on 26–27 July 2026 at the NGO Forum Central Training Center, Lalmatia, Dhaka. The training was organized by RHSTEP as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening institutional capacity and promoting gender-responsive, rights-based programming.
The first day of the training introduced participants to the core principles of the Gender Transformative Approach (GTA) and Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) through interactive discussions, practical exercises, and role plays, strengthening their understanding of gender equality and rights-based programming.
The second day focused on building participants' facilitation and training skills, covering adult learning techniques, effective communication, session planning, and action planning for implementing GTA and HRBA across RHSTEP programmes. The training concluded with a post-training evaluation and closing reflections.
Throughout the programme, VAALO employed participatory and experiential learning approaches, enabling participants to enhance both their technical knowledge and facilitation skills for promoting gender-transformative and human rights-based practices in their professional work.
Through this collaboration, VAALO avant-garde Ltd. and RHSTEP reaffirmed their shared commitment to advancing gender equality, human rights, and inclusive organizational practices. The knowledge and skills gained during the training are expected to enhance the quality of programme implementation and contribute to more equitable, rights-based reproductive health services for communities across Bangladesh.
