VAALO hosted a two-day training on "Gender Transformative Approach and Human Rights Based Approach” for RHSTEP staff at the NGO FORUM Central Training Center on February 24th and 25th, 2024. The training aimed to empower 25 participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to champion gender equality and human rights.
Facilitated by Dr. Nazneen Akhter and co-facilitated by Umme Suriea and Sabrina Afrin Suha, the sessions included interactive discussions and activities covering topics such as integrating gender transformative approaches into programming, understanding the intersectionality of gender and human rights, and advocating for marginalized communities. The training was coordinated by Md. Arifur Rahman Arif and organized by RHSTEP.
Participants left the training energized and committed to applying their newfound knowledge in their daily work, contributing to positive change in society.
