Once Benjamin Franklin said, “Either writes something worth reading or do something worth writing”. Writing is a process that is something like searching our souls. This is a sheer skill through which one can transcend his own boundary. It not only helps to know about the certain facts or happenings but also incorporates to know thyself. To develop logical and critical thinking writing is undoubtedly the part and parcel. Following this thought, VAALO avant-garde Ltd. has taken the initiative of arranging a praiseworthy essay competition named “Stamp your Mind: Think & Write”. Session’01” This 8th of May, the Grand Finale of the event has been held after a two-month-long procession. “BRAC University Leadership Development Forum” (BULDF), one of the eminent clubs of BRAC University was the “Event Partner” of this comprehensive program.

We VAALO, believe one single step to indulge the current youth can make a huge difference in their thinking pattern. To increase and appreciate their innovation and productivity at the same time we selected two different vibrant areas or topics to help them in brainstorming and think more profoundly. One is “Innovative ideas for social change making” and another one is “Gender Equality in Developing Bangladesh”. Both of those topics are the most burning and worth analyzing subjects in current days. We got so many write-ups from a sheer number of participants. The primary evaluation was done by the VAALO team and the final selection was judged by our prominent judge panel.

We went for a Facebook LIVE for the Grand Finale session with our distinguished judge panel. The judges were wholeheartedly pleased with the write-ups and it was really not an easy task to select the top ten because each of the participants presented their thoughts with a great deal of intuition and analysis. However, our honorable judges managed to make a list of the top ten under great scrutiny, and eventually, we have got the Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up. All the top 10 winners were highly congratulated and they will be further appreciated with proper certification and other presents through a small physical presence program organized by VAALO after the lockdown. The judges and audience also applauded VAALO avant-garde Ltd. for taking such an initiative for this young and energetic generation. Our honorable Founder & Managing Director, Dr. Nazneen Akhter excellently moderated the whole program, shared her valuable thoughts regarding the necessity of practicing knowledge shifting and gathering through this kind of competition, and eventually put a thoughtful conclusion.
