Happy Moments with the Children of our Marginal Locality

Happiness is a perceived event that varies from person to person but whenever it comes to sharing moments with underprivileged people, especially children, then the gravity of the happiness multiplied exponentially. With that target, this month VAALO avant-garde Ltd. has planned to share some valuable moments keeping the holy occasion of Sab-E-Barat in focus with the underprivileged children who are always deprived of accessing proper food and celebrating occasions like this one of the Agargao Area, Dhaka City.

VAALO team distributed about 100 food packages among the targeted group. The sole purpose behind this event was to share some positivity with those children which may make them feel happy for a moment and can eventually give a fresh start to the holy month of Ramadan. There were multi-categorized children present at the event, Orphan children from a local religious education institution, street children, children belonging to very poor families, and children from different slums of that particular area.

This whole social event was sponsored by our honorable thought binder Dr. M. Salim Uzzamn and distinguished Ms. Mumtaz Ali. The senior team member of VAALO moderated the event where the children enjoyed the time and food a lot. They happily expressed their gratitude and requested to execute such events again. This event made us realize how important these social engagements are for this marginal community so we should try our best to stay beside these community people more for the sake of humanity and for the sake of better world around us.

Responsibility and Compassion for Disadvantaged Children

Spring always brings color and huge positive energy among us which leads to see dreams that make sense to humanity. Leaving the shivering cold of winter behind, we start an afresh journey of our life at the beginning of spring. The prime focus is to be happy and share happiness among all of our surroundings so that everyone can give a restart to their regular life with a smile on their face.

Just like every year, this time VAALO team was prepared to spread happiness in the traditional manner. The team started celebrating the day with the conceptual thought sharing among the members and cutting the cake to be distributed among the people in the street who are struggling the most to manage their hunger at every sunrise. This year, VAALO distributed more than 100 packets filled with cakes and sweets keeping the “Pahela Falgun” occasion as the focus among street children, beggars, rickshaw pullers and other struggling people in the street. This is one of the most favorite social engagements of the VAALO team. They really enjoyed the whole event. Even the smile on the people faces makes us highly encouraged to execute such initiatives on a larger scale.

VAALO always has the deep feelings to work for and engage with such moment sharing which remains as a small piece of example that portrays the significance and necessity to stand beside these miserable promising people in the society. With a huge hope to make a positive change in society, VAALO celebrated the “pahela Falgun” and wish happiness & prosperity to all.

A small step with a wide vision ahead in community care

With the belief that the social and environmental impact drives the decisions and choices we make, VAALO attempts to express accountability and solidarity as a team towards the society’s betterment responding in any distress every year. To ensure warm winter for the underprivileged children on the street, this year on 22 December 2021, we took an attempt to distribute more than a hundred sweaters among them at our locality near Banani and Mohakhali.

Always our aim is to inspire others and lessen people’s sufferings ensuring they will have clothes to wear. We really had a great moment while making this small effort towards the poverty-stricken part of our society. We commit ourselves to the vision of conducting our platform in a socially responsible and sustainable way. We shall always keep up the work and play our part to make the world a better place.

Mask Distribution among people appeared for Vaccination

As the city has back to its previous shape and people are engaging themselves in their respective work life, so the chances of recontamination of the virus are now also increasing, with this concern in mind, this month VAALO has decided to distribute virus protective masks among the people who certainly have stopped using it or forget to take it with them.

The VAALO team has decided to distribute masks on September 16, 2021 at Dhaka Infectious Diseases Hospital, Mohakhali, Dhaka as this is the only hospital where people from different sides and the demography of the city appears regularly for the sole purpose of infectious diseases & COVID-19 vaccination. We have provided more than 1 Thousand COVID-19 protective masks to the authority of the “Dhaka Infectious Diseases Hospital” with a responsibility to distribute them to the people roaming inside the hospital without mask whenever found.

The contributory fund of this CSR program has been generated from Ms. Elana Gofran, Ms. Mumtaz Ali; Dr. Nazneen Akhter. The hospital authority has appreciated this novel piece of work and showed their kind interest to be associated in future relevant programs with VAALO. This is how we put our small effort to help our community and set an example for others to bring changes and improvements together.

VAALO's COVID Response During Lockdown

Religious rituals and festivals are always blessing for the people of the community. Human beings are strongly guided and emotionally attached to the significant acts of the region they belong to. Eid-Ul-Adha is one of the very significant festivals for our Muslim community which carries not only the pure sense of religious connectivity but also a great exemplary showdown of true sacrifice.

The deadly Corona Virus has already put a full stop to many of our social life events. Strict lock-down is being gone on all over the country. Still being a Muslim majority country, our people have not stepped behind to actively participate and celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha in a proper manner. Taking huge risks the government of Bangladesh adjourned the running shut-down for a week and lets us do the soulful duty which we possess as a true believer as well as a true human beings.

VAALO avant-garde is always well aware of the successful accomplishment of the responsibility towards the society especially the people in need or deprived of minimum standards of living in the occasions and festivals like Eid when every individual deserves to be happy and satisfied. So small efforts by the VAALO team are always there to make sure this little piece of happiness is in a tiny unprivileged corner of the locality.

On this occasion of Eid-Ul-Adha, 2021, VAALO has decided to distribute a package containing the necessary groceries of a family for this Eid week. Due to the challenges and risks of being contaminated by COVID-19, the team has not gathered in a particular place facilitating human density, rather the team has got split into their locality and provided each package to the people in need assuring the maximum social distancing during the distribution program.

Evidently, a list of 48 people has been made by the VAALO team members belong to their respective areas. Every people on that list has been vested with the package within 17th to 20th July 2021. To implement this Eid-Ul-Adha CSR program VAALO has incurred an amount in total BDT 30,500 which was considerably bestowed by the Founder and Managing Director, the Chairman and the global well-wishers of VAALO avant-garde Ltd. combined.

This genuine feeling and interest towards undertaking such a good piece of work have now become a symbolic characteristic of VAALO avant-garde Ltd. No matter how hard times come, VAALO always figures out the way to contribute and share happiness exactly where it lies in actual cognition. It is passionately believed by VAALO that one day, everybody will get into this path of sanctity and together we will build a world of peace and harmony.
