The VAALO team recently concluded a field tour for CARE Bangladesh's "End line Study for Frontline Health Worker Programme Myanmar Refugee Response (GSK III) – COVID-19 Response." Three days of fieldwork were spent at Rohingya refugee camps (Camps 12, 14, 15, and 16) in Coz's Bazar's Ukhiya Upazila.
The assignment was completed in a short amount of time. The team, however, viewed the deadline as a challenge and finished the task during Ramadan, working closely with the local data collection team and the focal person.
This journey was exceptional, and also a tremendous learning experience for the team. The blending of this new experience with the previous one will encourage the team to do such fieldwork in the future. Our cordial thanks to CARE Bangladesh for their continuous support.
