Annual “Duaa Mahfil” & CSR: Mask Distribution among the Children.

VAALO avant-garde Ltd always tries its best to put some efforts to add value to the society through maintaining their cyclic flow of CSR activities every month. Though COVID-19 made us a bit slow, still we have overcome the obstacles and keep doing our value adding works till now.

Recently we have arranged our Annual “Duaa Mahfil” in our corporate office maintaining required hygiene on last Thursday, 29th September, 2020. The sole purpose of this arrangement was to conduct our recent CSR activity. This time, keeping the annual “Duaa Mahfil” as an occasion, we invited respected teachers and some students in our corporate office to complete a whole recitation of “Holy Qur’an”. On this day, we provided them face mask for all the children reading in their educational institution named “Jamia Madania Baridhara Madrasha, Dhaka”.

We may be covering a very tiny portion of the society to do good things & helping the unprivileged, still we want to continue this work and hope to turn it on a larger figure in future and humbly wish for others to join such activities with respective good will.

Unlike past few CSR events in action, VAALO is continually thriving forward to raising hands alongside with our under privileged community who are in the extreme need and distress. Very recently, we took an attempt to support few women giving them sewing machine and clothes to produce handmade cozy comfortable, scientifically acceptable standard face mask which we can make available to the broader community in an affordable price, So that, wearing mask is not remain as a rhetoric word but is also accessible to the community who cannot afford to wear mask In this way, VAALO avant-garde family wish to help such families not only in fixing their needs but also we passionately agreed to assist the challenging family in their earning process as well. We truly believe that, if we put our single effort to strengthen at least few family’s earning ability, in turns it may create a positive impact on many in the long run.

With a view to fulfilling this creative dream of generosity, this time we have provided two sewing machines to the two tribal families who are very marginalized and living through continuous struggle currently engaged in work with a specialized village hospital situated at Modhupur, Tangail. We have also gave them the contract of making a bulk amount of protective Face masks with all the necessary guideline standard , raw materials that they need to produce. We have also provided two forehead thermometers (infrared thermal scanner) to that village Hospital of Modhupur, Tangail where we have provided 10 sets of PPEs earlier for their health care providers. A dedicated , well passionate and visionary foreign doctor who has devoted his life in giving services in that particular village hospital , came to our corporate office last Saturday, 4th of July, 2020 and we handed over him the sewing machines and temperature scanners along with other face mask making materials . We really had great moments in exchanging wise & noble thoughts for the community people and tribal society and how best we can combine our good intention to the betterment of our marginalized community.

In this venture we were financially sponsored by few goodhearted people in the society who have extended their emotions through donating some amount to help this idea. On behalf of VAALO we would like to convey our heartfelt thanks and acknowledge the support of Ms. Momtaz Ali, Ms. Jesmin Akhter, Ms. Shehejeen Hassan and Dr. M Salim Uzzaman who have contributed personally in this community care efforts.

It is really unfortunate that we are passing our "Holy Ramadan" in such a crucial time while the global pandemic, "Corona Virus" is covering our life with it's fear and darkness. Majority people of the whole nation is under real misery. This is the moment we have to take our step towards helping our own's and fight together against this pandemic in every possible way.

In such condition, we really appreciate the heroes who are actively engaging themselves serving the people with needs and who are endlessly trying to reduce hunger at least in this holy month of Ramadan. "Bidyanondo" and "Shorobor" are two such great-hearted groups who have taken the generous initiative to serve "Iftaar" among the poor families of our localities.

We "VAALO avant-garde" family really admire at their work and truly support them. Hence, we also have taken the chance of participating in such a magnificent event. Recently We have donated a fixed amount of money to both the groups, "Bidyanondo" & "Shorobor" for serving "Iftar" among total Twenty families for hole month of Ramadan.

Let us keep trying our best to survive in this hard time. We wish, the Allah Almighty keeps us safe & sound and the curse of human civilization, "COVID-19" goes away soon from our life.
