Pathfinder International is working on a program which aims to support the services providers in identifying, treating (first aid), and referring Gender Based Violence survivors and promoting gender-responsive facilities, family planning and other services. The program consists of the Training Manual- Addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV).
As the lead person of providing technical support, Dr. Nazneen Akhter, Founder and Managing Director of VAALO avant-garde Ltd. along with the team is responsible for developing the manual.
August 23, 2021 Pathfinder International had organized a working group meeting at Hotel Tropical Daisy, where members from partner organization such as USAID, Shukhi Jibon, DGHS, NIPORT, Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) came together to discuss and get insight into the training's draft manual. There, Dr. Nazneen Akhter had performed the presentation of 1st draft to get initial feedback from the members. Overall, the meeting was very insight full and effective for future operations.
