On 14 March 2026, VAALOavant-garde Ltd. hosted a warm and meaningful Iftar Mehfil, bringing together distinguished public health experts, partners, and members of the VAALO community for an evening of reflection, dialogue, and shared commitment to social impact during the holy month of Ramadan.
The event was graced by esteemed guests including Dr. Mohammad Mushtaq Husain, former Consultant of the World Bank Group and affiliated with Resolve to Prevent Epidemics and IEDCR; Dr. Saima Khan from UNAIDS; Dr. M. Salim Uzzaman, former Principal Scientific Officer at IEDCR; and Dr. Shahnaz Chowdhury, Professor and Head of Community Medicine at Bangladesh University of Health Sciences. Alongside them, VAALO’s experts, consultants, campus ambassadors, and team members created a vibrant platform for exchange of ideas. The VAALO team presented an overview of its journey and CSR initiatives, emphasizing its commitment to value-driven development and community-focused work, followed by an engaging discussion where key insights emerged on strengthening resource mobilization, expanding youth-focused training, creating more youth-centered opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships.
The evening concluded with a prayer and Iftar in a warm, cordial atmosphere. VAALO extends its heartfelt gratitude to all respected guests and participants for their valuable insights and continued support, which inspire its mission to advance youth empowerment, ethical engagement, and inclusive social development.
