The year 2022 was a great experiential year with lots of valuable performance for VAALO. To celebrate such a wonderful experience, VAALO organized a grant annual retreat last Saturday (28th January 2023) the day of the Annual Meeting 2022. The venue for this grant program was “Subarna Bhumi Resort” situated in Gazaria, Munshiganj.
The entire VAALO team started the journey together on the very morning of the day, enjoying the journey through lots of music, gossip, and beautiful natural sites the team reached to their beautiful desired destination exactly on time.
The annual meeting started at the venue in the day’s first half. In the meeting, the Manager (Accounts & Business Development), Mr. Arifur Rahman Arif gave a detailed presentation on several updates of the last year 2022, and also presented a comprehensive analysis of VAALO’s SWOT. After the presentation, the honorable Founder & Managing Director of VAALO, Dr. Nazneen Akhter provided a very positive reflection on the overall scenario of the company and discussed briefly the future implications as well.
The annual retreat day was full of different events. There were different gaming (Football & Dirt Throwing) competitions for the team members, Boat rides, Swimming Sessions, different refreshments, and a prize-giving ceremony in the floating restaurant. At the end of this programmatic day, all the members received some gifts for participating in different gaming showdowns. Besides, some special awards have been given to distinguished performers of the team. Ms. Sabrina Afrin received the “New Employee of the Year- 2022”; Md. Salman Osman Aranya received the “Employee of the Year- 2022” and Md. Arifur Rahman Arif received the “The Best Performer & Value Contributor to the VAALO avant-garde Ltd.'s startup over 2019-22.” awards respectively.
The annual retreat of 2023 was indeed a memorable one. Since the start of the company, VAALO celebrated the annual retreat every time with different colors, this time the program added a huge dimension that will ultimately work as a great motivation for the team members and also will strengthen the bonding between them.
