On May 13, 2026, VAALO avant-garde Ltd., in collaboration with Primeasia University, organized a special session of Tea, Coffee & We titled “Why Value Matters in the Current Context of Society” at VAALO’s Corporate Office. The roundtable discussion brought together faculty members from the Department of Public Health Nutrition of Primeasia University and team members of VAALO to engage in a meaningful dialogue on values, ethics, and social responsibility in today’s rapidly changing world.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Nazneen Akhter, Founder and Managing Director of VAALO avant-garde Ltd., who led an interactive discussion exploring the current state of values among young people and the growing challenges of maintaining ethical and responsible behavior in everyday life. Participants reflected on how values are shaped not only through formal education but also through family, society, institutions, and personal experiences.
The discussion highlighted the critical role of teachers in shaping students’ moral perspectives and emphasized the importance of discipline, accountability, and integrity. Participants also examined the gap between theoretical understanding and practical ethical behavior, while expressing concerns about the influence of excessive technology use on youth values. The need for stronger collaboration between families and educational institutions, along with value-oriented parenting and mentorship, was identified as essential for nurturing responsible future generations.
Faculty members and participants shared experiences and perspectives on promoting positive values within educational settings and communities. The exchange of ideas created a platform for thoughtful reflection on how institutions can contribute to building a culture of honesty, empathy, and social responsibility.
A significant outcome of the session was the proposal to establish a “Value Corner” at Primeasia University with the support of VAALO avant-garde Ltd. The initiative aims to create a practical and interactive space where students can actively practice and promote values such as honesty, responsibility, respect, and integrity through everyday actions and engagement.
The roundtable concluded with a shared commitment to fostering a generation driven not only by knowledge and professional success but also by strong ethical values, empathy, and a sense of responsibility toward society.
