On the 14th and 15th of July 2024, VAALO facilitated a two-day training session focused on Gender Transformative and Human Rights-Based Approaches for RHSTEP NGO’s frontline health workers. These included medical counsellors and hospital unit managers. The RHSTEP, a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Bangladesh, has been dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) for the past thirty years.
Collaborating with RHSTEP, VAALO is proud to have paved the way for a comprehensive training program aimed at empowering and educating frontline health workers. The workshop equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold gender-transformative and human rights-based approaches in their line of work.
Through this partnership, VAALO and RHSTEP are committed to building a stronger foundation for sexual and reproductive health rights in Bangladesh. The collaboration represents a significant step towards enhancing the capacity and knowledge of healthcare professionals, ultimately contributing to improved SRHR outcomes in the region. This initiative underscores the organizations' shared dedication to advancing and championing crucial healthcare rights within Bangladesh.
